Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service

What is Great Customer Service? Well, I hope I can say I'm an example. I currently work for a Four Star, Four Diamond Hotel. I give the best customer service I can possibly give. What can I give guests? Usually I do anything I can to fulfill a guests request. Whether it is a room to be made up or bringing an amenity up because they forgot theirs at home. It's little things of my service that I learned that keep guests coming back to not only the Hotel but me as well. I work at the front desk so we receive most of the heat if anything goes wrong with the guests stay, so with that said I try to avoid any problems and try to give the guest his/her requests at the time of check in to the time of their departure. At check in they have many requests of what type of room they want; from requests like a high floor or low floor, the type of view they would like (if its available), and even what kind of layout they would like. I try to find any way to make their stay that much more comfortable. I like to consider myself a great example not to boast but because I believe what goes around comes around. I like to treat people like I would like to be treated at my time at a hotel or anywhere for that mater. I feel it is a necessity that people receive good if not great customer service so that people know and can talk about their experiences with whatever you are doing. I like going to retail stores expecting a level of customer service, however I know that not every place is going to have good service, I would just like to be one of them that does.
